Steve recently worked on a couple of projects for me.  In my bath remodel, he insulated the walls and attic, took out old walls and ceiling, sheet rocked both, put finishing touches on a bench, and put in new baseboards.  He also tore apart my old staircase and rebuilt it.  Part of that project included restoring the original newel posts.  It is now solid, level, and safer. Whatever the job, he did it cheerfully and with professional skill. I appreciate his attention to detail, his courtesy, and his work ethic.  Altogether, I ended up with a beautiful bath and staircase.  Thank you, Steve.”

Being that our kitchen is where we congregate, we asked Steve to look into redoing our kitchen floor. Our home is over 100 years old, and the floors in our home are far from being level. With lots of thinking and planning by Steve, he took on the difficult task of leveling our kitchen floor, yet still keeping the character of the house. We now are proud to show off our gorgeous, heated, tile kitchen floor that we love and so do our furry friends with paws. Thank you Steve!”

Dear Steve,

I just wanted to write and thank you for the excellent tile work in our new home here in Elkins. At over 5,000 square feet with no carpeting, the amount of hardwood and tiles is substantial…and we couldn’t be more pleased.

We love the way the kitchen floor turned out with the border designs you recommended. It just looks great! Also, the master bathroom has met all of our hopes. Thank you for your idea to use epoxy grout in the large walk-in shower. Avoiding the need to seal the grout over time, along with its inherent durability is a real plus.

The tile planking in our downstairs media room and guest house looks exactly like a real wood floor. No one can even believe it is tile! The installation was perfect.

We will be happy to recommend you should you need a reference Steve. Thanks again.”
